Mixed Media

This is an archive of my mixed media work. Each piece is created using a variety of materials, including: paper collage, acrylic ink, acrylic paint, gouache, graphite, charcoal, and colored pencil. An intuitive lost and found process takes place between the media’s materiality and the figure drawings. Multiple mixed media layers are applied, sanded, and reapplied until the diverse elements are unified and have a textured, sculptural quality that is the hallmark of my personal visual language.
